Come on man get real. I have seen the videos sequences limited to 60 fps, and one or two times limited to 30 fps like it glitched or something. The regular game is definitely not fps capped with vsync off. It's a glitch. Press alt+enter to switch from windowed mode and then again to go back to full screen. Overall it's a pretty poor showing. The FPS goes to like 20 at some points, and if this is 1080p I'm a cross-dressing cosmonaut. It looks like 720p to me. FC5 looks twice as good and runs far better. The AK-47 sounds terrible and fires like an SMG. The water flickers with movement and kinda looks flat and crappy overall. For high graphics cards or medium graphics cards with i7 or i5, just try it. If it doesn't work, then change everything to medium ( Far Cry 3 settings ). But everything in ultra will have judder and it isn't smooth. I am very happy with my settings and it's very smooth. 60+fps, baby. I feel Ubisoft is all in on this feature and probably gave the green light for their entire last gen catalogue. I wouldn't be surprised if 3 gets a boost next. Yeah ubisoft games make up a lot of the fps boosted titles which is a good sign, I just don't understand why they did the rest of the far cry titles but not far cry 3it doesn't add up Software.
