Park the BMW, set the parking brakes, and turn off the engine. Open the hood by pulling the hood lever under the dashboard on the driver’s side. Pull or press the hood release at the front of the hood and lift the hood. Locate the hood switch towards the back of the engine. The hood switch is on top of the plastic over the firewall.
In F10, the PDC control unit is integrated into the JBE. As you describe a global power problem with the sensors, I would start looking at the JBE. There exists an 18pin connector which connects to the actual sensors. Check if it is sitted correctly. Pin 1 (yellow) gets power (with ignition on) to the front sensors and pin 6 (yellow) to the rear.
I went on a 1 mo. holiday and the car stayed in the garage. When I came back and turned on the ignition I received the following message: "Increased battery discharge while stationary, some electrical consumers may have been switched off". I had no problems starting the car and it seems to have been a warning which since the restart went away

Change both batteries and tried again, still nothing. However, I found the solution (in the UK at least anyway). Any new 2032 sized batteries in the UK come with a warning sticker about swallowing. If this sticker isn't taken off if blocks the connection inside the key. Removed the warning stickers on each battery and both keys now work. Simple
2013 f10 520i. I initially went for the Varta AGM silver but it was creating problems even after coding. Asked the garage to change to the original BMW spec battery a day later, he simply put it in and off we go after 10mins. No coding nor a computer in sight.
Pay attention to the SPECIFIC power-related warnings you receive. "Charge battery" does not mean "replace battery". Similarly, "discharging while stopped" does not mean "replace battery". Do not just throw a new battery at every electrical warning you see unless you like buying more batteries than you need. "Charge battery" means just that.
Location: San Jose. iTrader: ( 0) "Replace battery" iDrive message. Just got my 330 xdrive couple weeks ago. Brake Fluid Level. You usually see this indicator as a “!” that can light up in yellow or red. A yellow warning means your brake fluid is low, and you need to get it refilled, so drive carefully. If the “!” is in red, it means your hill brakes have failed, so you will roll on an incline once you release the foot brake.
Mine is a 535i. It has a higher rating battery I thInk. had a warning instruction that PML said was due to low battery charge. Quoted S$800 replacement w/o gst. Thought it was too high. . Went to get original from Eng Soon (stockist) paid S$650 and went to their recommended installer (next door) for replacement.
I remember my F10 (when we had it) would prompt a replace battery message in the car when the FOB battery needed replacement. Sometimes the simplest answer might be the correct one. Your new battery will need registration, which an indy should be able to do, but before you get caught up in that, try replacing the battery in your key fob and see

The dealer did not find any problems with power steering but I spoke to shop foreman and he agreed to open a case with BMW NA and keep the car for a few more days. The battery may need replacement (dealer will need approval from BMW NA). Or - the entire power steering rack may have to replaced. To be continued.
